cuisine and art of Tuscany, a true experience of the pleasure and
fascination of this historical land.

Vallacchi Farm is a typical Tuscany farmhouse, dating back on the first half of century 18th, renovated by Loredana and Massimo, maintaining the original characters but furnishing the modern comfort, including a swimming-pool (6x12 meters) placed on a natural terrace overlooking the countryside.
The farm extends for 10.000 square meters in the pure Valdegola valley, it stands in front of the old church of S. Giovanmni a Corrazzano and, even if on a flat land, it is surrounded by a wonderful landscape with the typical colors of Tuscany in every season.
Our guests are hosted in a number of bedrooms with bath and apartments in a familiar atmosphere which gives warmth to a peaceful holiday.
Free farm animals (geese and chickens), donkeys (Mimě and Pedro), a horse (Delfi), dogs (Tirilla, Willy and Totta), cats (Nerone, Spenna) and some more without a name complete the family of Loredana, Massimo and their daughter Marta (16).
Here the life is simple and respectful of nature; no pesticides, herbicides nor chemical products are used to grow the vegetables and they get olive-oil, wine, honey, cheese, cereals and meat from the nearby country peasants.
Their meals are prepared with organic food and also the animals are fed with organic products.

Flying note: We recommend that you land at
Pisa Galileo Galilei (code PSA) International Airport, check the convenient
fares of
RyanAir from London Stansted (STN). The airport is
located near to Pisa and is the more common arrival airport for
flights originating in Europe. For flights coming from North America there
are easy connections in Rome, Milano Malpensa and Paris.
Transfer from the Pisa airport to San Miniato can be arranged on
request, at 5 PM, included in the price.
Train note: there are direct trains to San Miniato from the Pisa airport, from Pisa downtown and from the Florence Santa Maria Novella station, one almost every hour. We suggest visiting www.trenitalia.com for exact timetable information. Should you be arriving by rail, Florence's central Stazione di Santa Maria Novella is a hub for direct services from cities such as Milan (three hours), Venice (three hours) and Bologna (one hour).
Driving note: from Florence or from Pisa, take the S.G.C freeway, also called Fi-Pi-Li (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno), and exit at San Miniato. Not far from the exit there is the San Miniato railroad station, where we can meet you.
